Under theRadar Screen

I'm under the radar screen
I'm moving oh so close to the ground
No I am not seen
I have to be searched out to be found

No one willing to discover deep
Plunging through the darkened sea
And the clouds that cling to me
Along my way

He only sees the green
He's seen so much he's going blind
Yes he's one of them
Never looks and little does he find

I'm not willing to discover there
To plunge into an unknown where
And the fears that cling to you
Along your way

Under the radar screen
Under the radar screen

We are not the ones to bring you up or down
We only follow where we're told to go, yeah
We're on our way

We're under the radar screen
We are the grains of sand on the shore
No we won't be seen
Should we even dare to ask for more?

What should our deepest motivation be?
Should it be for you or me?
Just for a blip on a screen
In crowded skies

Voices Fallen

We wait 'til the sun goes down
Before we make our way
Spirited and not afraid

The moon moves through the trees
The talking of the leaves fill the breeze tonight

And when we stop to talk and then to have our fun
It's then a clap of thunder tells me that the tide has turned
And we should leave

Littering the empty park
As far as we can see
Voices that have fallen down, their voices down

Wind cries out for me
Brings back the talk of the leaves
And whispered pleas tonight

And she says

And then I wonder where the dials have turned
And she says
Oh why?
Can't you try?
Not to imply?
The night is still young

Get Old

And I'm wondering what it's like to get old
And I'm wondering why I feel so cold
Will I find a pot of gold
I'm wondering what it's like to be old

Will I be sitting 'round thinking
What did I do with the time
Will it be in a state of mind

One that leaves me gone before I'm called away
And I wonder what it's like
What it's like to be old

And I'm wondering what it's like to get old
And I'm wondering why feel so bold
Will I bet or will I fold?
I'm wondering will a story be told

Will I be lying round thinking
All I've got lies behind
Will it be in a state of mind?

One that leaves me gone before I'm called away
And i wonder what it's like
What it's like to be old

Two Bit

I'm talking 'bout a two-bit stranger
He comes up to you
Pulls a gun and he pulls the trigger
Oh what you gonna do?

I'd like to have assurance
That it won't happen to me
But that's life and its grand ambition
Things waiting for me

I'd like to have insurance
In case it happens to me
That's life and its grand attrition
Fears wearing on me

Along the tendril climb
We weave in and out
Threads that sometimes end
Awasted vine
There's an end to your story
Will it be one of glory?
Or will it be a tragic one
Ataste but not a full meal

I'm talking about a two-bit stranger
He comes up to you

I'd like to have the courage
To face what's in front of me
That's life in its grand tradition
Unpredictability

Along the tendril climb
We weave in and out
Threads that sometimes end
A wasted vine
There's an end to your story
Will it be one of glory?
Or will it be a tragic one
Ataste but not a full meal

I'm talking a two-bit
I'm talking to you
I'm talking a two-bit
I'm talking to you
I'm talking a two bit
I'm talking to you

Travelling fast in an unbroken stream
Passing flotsam and broken down dreams
What's that finger on the wall?
I'm not sure

Four legs to three and now you're in between
There's a riddle now what does it mean
Could it be that what's ahead - is what's behind?

Don't let the currents bring you down
Keep your head up or you'll drown
In between

Travelling faster but you aren't alone
Who can master what rules from a throne?
What's that finger on the wall?
I'm not sure

Don't let the currents bring you down
Keep your head up or you'll drown
In between

Fort

We're still playing in the vacant lot down the street even
Though we're past he point where we should have moved on.
We lost piggy not long ago, he grew on to other things
But we've kept at it
And now we've dug ourselves in.

Oh those Giants
I hear their call

We've cut ourselves a fort deep in the underbrush
That on the really hot days provides us with some relief and cover.
And though there are elements of dissention among the group
W we can operate as a team if we are so provoked.

I can hear the giants
But are they mockingbirds
We can defend ourselves
We can defend ourselves

And so I say to you who think you might want to approach,
Whether you come from the Blocks to the east
U up near the old high school or you who dwell near the creek;
We have dug in, and will make our last and final stand, here.

Are these giants
Or are they mockingbirds?
We can defend ourselves
We can defend ourselves

Why can't you see that we'll take you down with our sticks and stones?
Why can't you see that we'll take you down with our sticks and stones?

So when we were kids in the yard
W we just kinda kept running around and playing,
Looking like there was no tomorrow.
But now we know differently even though we still vacate those vacant lots.

Are these giants
Or are they mockingbirds?
We can defend ourselves
We can defend ourselves

Why can't you see that we'll take you down with our sticks and stones?
Why can't you see that we'll take you down with our sticks and stones?

You will never win, when we take you down
Why can't you see that we'll take you down with our sticks and stones?

Between the Lines

I know a fella and his flag is waving
But he don't know why
He's part of the party ragin' on
He sounds just like his mom

It doesn't take a two-brained genius to know
Something is wrong...
But he thinks that I'm a traitor too
Wonder how long

I know a fella and his mouth is raving
And I don't know why
What he says only says he's ragin' on
I hear the sound of bombs

It doesn't take a brighter bulb that me
To sing this song
But between the lines will you read
What's going on?

What is going on?

The Party Rages on

The Party Rages on

Way to Go

Intern the shallow mind
And in turn you shall find
What looks like a lover might just be another shell

Unlearn what you've been told
And shun your ways of old
Or can you take a step in a direction you don't know

And the way to go is away from the most
Stand apart if you can from the great host

And the world is full of those
Who don't think outside their own
Will you be another or a lover of deeper wells?

Affirm the higher road
And learn to kiss the toad
There's little to be learned by living without some slime

Where you go may leave you with the most
Stand apart if you can from the host

Confirm that you are one
Who perceives the parts and sum
What looks like a lover might just be another hell

Concur with what i've said
Or sleep in the same bed
And dwell among the rabble who don't dabble in different worlds

Can't you see that your still among the most
Stand apart if you can from the great host

Invisimel

As long as I have known her she has talked to me and said
Much about her life and what was going through her head
Suddenly she made her move
She wasn't in the room
She took the wrong way
Wrong way home
Wrong way home

Can't you see that she is afraid
Can't believe that she went away
We'll be told come the time
And if she is of a mind
We'll be told why she had to leave

Funny thing about her is she's sometimes still around
But we cannot see we only hear her making sound
Suddenly she disappeared
Distancing her peers
She took the wrong way
Wrong way home
Wrong way home

Can't you see that she is confused
Can't believe that we aren't amused
She'll be bold come the time
And if she is of the mind
We'll be told why she had to leave

Inisimel
Only time will tell
Come back
Invisimel

And if she does return one day then all will be well
Until then we will be content with our invisimel
That will have to do
Since she did choose
To go the wrong way
Wrong way home
Wrong way home

We'll be told come the time
And if she is of a mind
We'll be told why she had to leave

Luther's Yard

We drank luther's wine
Out in the yard
We drank stolen wine
Out in luther's yard

No, we didn't pay
Attention
Those days are forever gone
Away

We drank of the time
Out in the yards
We drank borrowed time
Out in luther's yard

No,
we didn't pay
Attention
Those days are forever gone
Away

Can't You See?

I'm anxiously waiting around for the fall from grace, man
And she says that she wants to give me a little taste, man
Can't you see what we're going for, it's gold
And I see you are spinning in the night, it's cold

Can't you see, I'm waiting 'round to taste the wasteland
Big brother's gonna look down at me and take my hand, man
Can't you see it's coming for you it's gold
And I see that staring in the night, it's soul

I'm anxiously waiting around for the fall from grace, man
And she says that she wants to give me a little taste, man
Can't you see what we're going for, it's gold
And I see you are spinning in the night, it's cold

Preoccupied

When he's wandering through
Winter wonderland
He might wonder why
He keeps craving a previous stop

Looking through the glass, he
Finds another hand
And he wonders where
He will be when it finally stops

Find that he's preoccupied
Haunted by some circumstance
At one of those stops

When he looks out, throws the clouds away
It's then he wonders why
The feelings grasp and grab onto his thoughts

And when they settle on him
It makes a winterland
And if he wanders there
He might find a way to stop that clock

And he seems preoccupied
Haunted by his circumstance and what is gone
Carries on
And he's gone
He carries on
And it's gone

When he wakes up in the
Early morning hours
It's not his only shot, but it's a way
He will find his plot

Cloudy

When I think
I'll remember
All the sunny days
But things will be
Sort of cloudy
Cuz I won't see
The smile on your face

A Different Lane

A carrot or two
Dangles in front of you
Blinders by proxy, keeps you
Faithfully soldiering on
You're just a pawn
Strings you along your days

A gallon of wine
It's with you all the time
Goggles and mixers keep you
Ever stumbling on
You're getting it on
Pureeing all your days

But what concerns me is
I'm the same
A different lane but on the same highway

A carrot or two
Stretched out in front of you
Blinders by proxy, keeps you
Faithfully soldiering on
