So Brite at Rojo

4-7-08
T-minus Band will be playing at the Raindrop
Festival at Bottletree
on Saturday, April 26th. The time slot we'll be playing hasn't been
announced yet but there'll be plenty of other great bands so it'll
be fun to go and hang out all day. It's for a good cause too! Find
out more here.

Happy New Year!
T-minus
Band will be playing a show opening for Sunny
So Brite at Rojo
on Saturday, January 12th. Admission is free and show starts around
8pm.
Recording is coming along and it looks like 2 different albums are
being recorded at the same time. One seems along the lines of the
Technostalgia album and the other is radically different from any
other T-minus Band recordings.
9-21-07 Unless something special comes up T-minus Band won't
be playing any shows for a while as work has begun on a new album.
Stay tuned for updates on that.
T-minus
Band is proud to have a song linked from Neil Young's website. He
has a section called Living
With War Today and there are over 2000 protest songs linked
there. One of them is "Waves of Grain" by T-minus Band.
You can hear the track by
clicking here. Listening to the song from his site will
make the song's ranking go up so by all means: click
here!
For
any of you gamers out there perhaps you remember the game Team Fortress.
There has been a remake of the game called Fortress
Forever and one of the developers it turns out is a T-minus
Band fan. The result? A map set in Italy with flyers for an upcoming
T-minus Band show at our favorite venue, Rojo.
The show's date on the flyer is October 27 because of the song "Longing
for October". Click on the picture to the right to
see the image full-sized. And if you are a Team Fortress fan go
download the game, it's free (you must have Half-Life 2 to play).
7-26-07 Show at Rojo
T-minus Band will be playing at Rojo on Thursday, August 16th at
8:30 pm. This show will be free/all-ages and we will be playing
one set only.

been included on Magnet
Magazine's New Music Sampler Vol. #46. If you are a Magnet

5-7-07
While this site is due for an overhaul I don't have the time
or talent to do such a thing. So I've done the next best thing by
giving it a facelift.
4-12-07 We had such a good time playing at Rojo that we're doing
it again on Thursday, May 17th at 8pm. Once again the show will
be free and all-ages.
3-13-07 T-minus Band will be playing at Rojo
on Thursday, March 29th at 8pm. This show will be different
from the shows of the past as we'll be eschewing the loud rock format
for something along the lines of an early 90's episode of MTV's
"Unplugged" (remember how they weren't really unplugged?).
This show will not, however, be like an episode of VH1's "Storytellers"
from any time period. We're also likely to include a song or two
from our latest album The Morning After which is available
here at this website as well as Rojo. You can add any of the T-minus
Band CD's and t-shirts to your tab at Rojo on the night of the
show, or anytime you might have a tab open there. Also, it might
be worth noting that admission to this show is free and all-ages.
1-30-07 WBHM's
Tapestry program will feature T-minus Band this Thursday, February
1st at 6:30 P.M. and the show will replay on Saturday at 11:30 A.M.
Their
website also archives the shows for your listening convenience.
I would like to take this opportunity to commend Tapestry for exposing
local music to our local airwaves because in these parts, that is
rare. Another group trying to change that is Fried Green Radio and
you might want to check out what they are doing here
and here.
You might even hear some T-minus Band.
Also,
The Morning After got its first review
from local website fleabomb.com
in case you are interested.
12-12-06
The new album, The Morning After is now available through
this website or
if you are in Birmingham you can purchase it at Rojo.
We aren't having a CD release party but plan on a very special show
in late February. More on that later. If you want to hear some of
the new material it can be found here
or here.
